NMAT 2016 Notification & Registration Process

NMIMS conducts the NMAT for admissions to its various MBA programs offered at its Mumbai, Bengaluru and Hyderabad Campuses. From the academic session 2017-19, a number of other prominent B-Schools across the country also accept NMAT scores.

The registration for NMAT-2017 started on 4th July 2016 for admissions for the academic session 2017-19. Applicants may take the test in the window period from 7th October to 20th December2016 for a maximum of 3 times, with a minimum period of 15 days between successive attempts. In case of multiple attempts, best of three scores will be considered.

As NMIMS has different campuses and MBA in various specializations, following table shows the eligibility criteria:

  1. Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
  2. Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
2 MBA HR Selection process is separate (Mumbai Campus)
  1. Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
  2. Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
3 MBA Pharmaceutical Management - Selection process is separate (Mumbai Campus)
  1. Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in Pharmacy, Science, Life Sciences, MBBS, BDS, BHMS, BAMS, B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Biotechnology from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt. Post Graduate degree holders in Economics, Psychology and Sociology can also apply.
  2. Candidates with B.Tech. or B.E. in Bio-Tech. or Bio- Medical are also eligible to apply.
  3. Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.
  4. Candidates working in Pharmaceutical Companies for more than two years are preferred.
4 PGDM -Bengaluru Campus PGDBM - Hyderabad Campus
  1. Full Time Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3/4) in any discipline from a recognized University with minimum 50% marks in the aggregate in first attempt.
  2. Those candidates who have cleared their graduation by doing a part-time course or through distance learning, correspondence courses, externally, open school are NOT ELIGIBLE to apply.

Step 1: Register for NMAT online by creating an account on www.nmat.org.in using a valid email address

Step 2: Make payment, there are three ways to make the payment:

  1. Payment at Bank branch - cash payment at one of the designated bank branches
  2. Credit/Debit Card – online payment through credit/debit card
  3. Demand Draft - payment through a demand draft

Step 3: Schedule the test:
Schedule the test on preferred date and location subject to availability.
